While we cannot wait to open our doors to all of you, our strong preference is to continue to “meet” with our clients virtually, via Zoom videoconference. We have found this to be an excellent time for our clients to focus, or re-focus, on their getting their affairs in order. It has, perhaps, never been so apparent how important it is to have a comprehensive plan in place. Completing your estate plan helps to ensure that your Will, Health Care Power of Attorney and Financial Powers of Attorney designate the people that you choose are in charge of making decisions for you and that the dispositive provisions of your estate planning documents (and the beneficiaries of your retirement accounts and life insurance) completely and concisely spell out your wishes. Throughout this pandemic, we have continued to help our clients navigate this process, and work through all of the decisions that go into a well thought out plan. We feel fortunate to be able to do so.
In our new space, we continue to operate with a reduced team in the office, with many of our attorneys and staff working primarily from home. For those clients coming into the office, masks and sanitation of hands are required. No more than two clients are permitted in for an appointment, and conference rooms are sanitized before and after any use. Though, again, for your safety and the safety of our team, we do prefer to meet virtually.
