Happy New Year to all of you! We hope that you weathered the storm of 2020 unscathed (or, relatively so) and that you are as excited as we are to move into 2021.
As we reflect back on 2020 and all of the heartache, uncertainty, and stress that came with it, we can’t help but count our blessings that our Firm continues to thrive. We feel tremendously fortunate that we were able to maintain our entire staff, in-tact, throughout the pandemic. We thrive because of you, our loyal clients, and friends. Thus, please let us take this opportunity to express a sincere Thank You to each of you for continuing to put your trust in us to help plan for you and your families.
Not only is our whole team still with us, but we have grown by one. Laura Stinglin joined us as an Administrative Assistant earlier this month. We know you will join us in welcoming Laura to the FM Team.
Finally, in the middle of the craziness which was 2020, we moved! Although we were sad to leave our longtime home, we are all enjoying the new space and I don’t think any of us have looked back. Although so much has changed during these past ten (10) months, we continue to do what we have always done. We are just doing it from a new location, and with a few new protocols in place.
And, while we remain “Open for Business” and cannot wait to open our beautiful new doors to all of you, our strong preference is to continue to “meet” with our clients virtually, via Zoom video-conference. This technology has permitted us to safely remain “face to face” with all of you during these challenging times. We have found most people have become quite comfortable with the Zoom platform. Of course, you can’t fully execute your Will via Zoom. For our document signing appointments, we are handling the majority of those in our parking lot, with our team bringing your documents out to you to sign in the comfort of your vehicle. For those clients coming into the office, masks and sanitation of hands are required. No more than two clients are permitted in for an appointment, and conference rooms are sanitized before and after every use. I know we would all like to be back to “normal,” but we aren’t there just yet. Thank you, again, for your continued flexibility as we navigate a new office, new COVID procedures, social distance requirements, and masks, all in an effort to keep you and our FM Team safe.
